To date, Mo Rivera has pitched in 1,023 regular season baseball games.  And, in only 24 of those 1,023 games has he allowed more than one extra base hit in the contest.  It's a pretty amazing feat.  Here are those 24 games:

Multiple Games of 9+ IP 0R without a Win

On Friday night,  Jered Weaver managed to pitch 9 innings without allowing a run and still not earn a win. Not only that, it was the second time that Weaver has done that this season, making him the 11th pitcher since 1919 to finish with a line of at least 9 innings, 0 runs and no win twice in the same season.  Here are the others:

Last night, Derek Jeter became the second player since 1919 to have a multiple five hit game season at the age of 37 or older. Jeter joins Dave Winfield, who had 2 five hit games in 1991 when he was 39 years old. Here are the oldest players to put up more than one 5 hit game in a single season.
