		<description>If it was just from the last 50 years, he wouldn&#039;t list Hal Chase &amp; Hick Carpenter. 
Maybe Bressler &amp; Cooney are ruled out because each was a pitcher for part of his career. 
Or maybe the author just goofed - it wouldn&#039;t be the first time a baseball trivia book had mistakes in it.</description>

I did my own unscientific search and found 10 1B, 26 OF and 419 pitchers.  I wonder if a brain scan on all of them would yield as delightful findings as I would expect one on Rickey would reveal?</description>
