Post-Season Extra Inning Boom-Boom Trio

Posted by Steve Lombardi on November 12, 2007

Ever wonder how many pitchers have given up more than one extra-inning homer in the post-season?  Thanks to Baseball-Reference.com's Play Index Post-Season Batter Event Finder, you can look at all the homeruns that have been hit in the post-season during extra innings - and who gave them up.

And, this list tells you that Dan Miceli, Keith Foulke, and Rick Aguilera are the only pitchers in baseball history to allow more than one homerun to be hit off them during extra innings of a post-season game.  Foulke is the only one to do it in the same game.
