I wanted to use the Pitching game finder to find games that ended with a balk, but thats not an option. :(

That's an interesting point, Sam--since it wasn't a batting event, it doesn't show up in the PI.
Oscar makes a good point too, although since we can read the situation of each game-ending error, in theory it would be easy to weed out game-ending plays that didn't involve the winning run scoring.

I know of one instance in 2005 that the PI didn't pick up. On August 11, the Angels were in Oakland, and K-Rod was pitching in a tie game in the ninth. There were men on second and third with two outs. K-Rod apparently lost his concentration, and dropped a throw back from the catcher, allowing the winning run to score.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the spam filter for some reason..sorry I can get nicely formatted responses.

Two games in 2000 ended on E9's:

     2000-05-16 Henry Blanco MIL HOU Chris Holt tied 5-5 b16 -23 1 3-2 7 1 *ENDED GAME*:Reached on E9/Sacrifice Fly; Grissom Scores

     2000-08-09 Juan Pierre COL PIT Mike Williams down 2-3 b 9 12- 2 1-0 2 0 *ENDED GAME*:Reached on E9 (Fly Ball); Walker Scores/unER; Petrick Scores/unER; Pierre to 2B

Here's a game from1999 ending on an E2:

     1999-04-21 Kenny Lofton CLE OAK Billy Taylor tied 4-4 b 9 1-- 0 0-1 2 0 *ENDED GAME*:Reached on E2/Sacrifice Bunt; Cabrera Scores/No RBI/unER; Lofton to 2B

And finally a game from 1998 ending on an E7:

     1998-09-23 Geoff Jenkins MIL CHC Rod Beck down 5-7 b 9 123 2 2-2 5 0 *ENDED GAME*:Reached on E7 (Fly Ball); Loretta Scores/No RBI/unER; Cirillo Scores/No RBI/unER; Burnitz Scores/No RBI/unER; Jenkins to 2B

That looks to be a pretty messy error, and that man Mark Loretta was involved again...that's at least 4 different games ending in an ROE he was directly involved in. Weird.

Just looking at the box score of that game, I instantly remembered it. That was when Brant Brown dove for the ball and it went past him into the corner. A play like that (all 3 runs scoring) could only happen with 2 outs, unless some very fast runners are on base.

With the assistance of rain an error can be the last play of the game without being a walk off win.
For example earlier this month Josh Phelps was hit by a pitch on the last play of the game. His team lost 16-4. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/SLN/SLN200709060.shtml I don't know if its happened with errors, but its possible.
