		<description>Hughie Critz is a cool find.  Picked up by the Giants a month into the season -- presumably for his glove.  John McGraw bats him leadoff every day for the rest of the year.  The *team* batting line that year was .319/.369/.473 so he ended up scoring most of the time he actually reached base.</description>
