Hmm. My comment of a few days ago must not have been posted.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any players who played in the Majors and either the NBA or the NHL in the same year. Considering that NHL and NBA seasons span two calendar years, I guess abutting the MLB season on either end would count. I know there have been a number of players that have played in both MLB and the NFL in the same season (Bo Jackson and Neon Deion Sanders jump immeditely to mind, but I know there were others, too).

is it possible to get the four sports reference pages to cross link players that are in both systems? if that makes sense... there can't be all that many right? i mean, definitely less than 50, i would think.
