Zack Greinke

Posted by Andy on April 30, 2009

Last night, Zack Grienke won his 5th game of the year in his 5th start, but he broke his string of starts allowing no earned runs. Turns out he set the record for most starts allowing no runs and getting the win from the start of a season (1954 to present):

Greinke allowed 2 ER in 7 IP last night but still got the win. His troubles have been well-documented and this is a guy we should all root for to continue to succeed.
