I remember that 1990 Hawkins game. I was in a "league" (more like an office pool) where each person drafted 10 pitchers and 10 hitters. Only Wins (for pitchers) and HR (for hitters) were counted. (There were separate winners for the hitters and pitchers categories.) For the pitchers, you also got a 3-win "bonus" for a no-hitter. I had Hawkins on my roster, and after that game, they changed the "rule" and said that it had to be a no-hitter WIN in order to get the bonus. Those 3 points were the difference between first and second place for me. That was also the year that Orel Hershiser was the first pitcher selected (got 1 win then was out for the season), and a "Japanese retread" named Cecil Fielder (51 HR - most in 13 years) was the last hitter (of 110) selected.

Campaneris may have been fast, but you don't have to be fast to score on your own single. Joe Torre also did it that year!

Yes Campaneris found 4 different ways to score without an RBI in that game, three without bat on ball - WP, PB, error on a SB. On the fourth, he scored on his own single!

The 1990 game is a classic- Andy Hawkins with a no-hitter and loses 4-0.
