Entries are the text that sponsors place on player, team or other pages. We review the text of all new or edited entries for material that falls outside of our guidelines.

The vast majority of all proposed entries will be accepted, but we want to clearly state our policy just in case someone tries something inappropriate for our site.

All entries are reviewed prior to posting on the site and we reserve the right to reject any entry for any reason, and we will gladly work with you to produce a suitable entry or refund your money if this bothers you.

You may not link to offensive or pornographic websites.

You may not spoof the name of another person or company that you are not a representative of. For instance, the following entries would not be allowed. You also may not imply a commercial tie between yourself and the player or team.

Link title or Sponsor Name: Joe Player

Link url (blank is no address): http://www.joeplayerstinks.com/

Link Description: I'm a very bad baseball player.

OR

Link title or Sponsor Name: Barry Bonds (unless you can convince me you are Barry Bonds)

Link url (blank is no address): http://www.amazon.com/

Link Description: The book linked to above is really great.

OR

Link title or Sponsor Name: Forman Motors

Link url (blank is no address): http://www.formanmotors.com/

Link Description: Drive the same car that Derek Jeter drives.

You could, however, do the following.

Link title or Sponsor Name: JoePlayerStinks.com

Link url (blank is no address): http://www.joeplayerstinks.com/

Link Description: Find out why we don't like Joe Player.

OR

Link title or Sponsor Name: Amazon.com

Link url (blank is no address): http://www.amazon.com/

Link Description: Barry is the greatest left fielder of all-time. Find books about Barry Bonds at Amazon.com.

Not everyone has to agree with your entry (like the Joe Player entry above), but it must be clear who is making the statement and you can't speak for others.

I (sean forman) have the final decision as to what is and is not an allowable entry on the site.

Please e-mail us with any questions you have regarding the propriety of proposed entries or any other sponsorship-related questions.
